Has lots of room for whatever size you are! I wore it for the first time to the gym and I love it already. It helped me sweat a lot more and I like having my tummy sucked in.so ok first the review question asks "how does the product fit?". the best possible [in this multiple choice] answer i can give is FIT AS EXPECTED. even though, this is not really my true answer, bc i cant find in my order detail what size i ordered to 'expect' something. i can only assume i ordered a small. now i can talk about the small. i am 5'4, i measured my waist as 29/30. this fits just fine. the image has this shapely woman. i would say, it will take a second person to help you tighten this to get that hourly glass. IF NOT, it will only shape you like a STRAIGHT body. i will say the reinforcement is strong. the velcro holds up. durable constructs. i wore while sleeping. if you have fatty tummy [this might sound stupid, maybe that's why we all bought it...], u can expect the fatty bulge to come out in the waistline. i dont really know if this will really shape you up, but the support it gives my back, it also straightens my back, and i dont have good posture, it helps. i dont think i am willing to wear this under a loose shirt when i go out as some people said. im sure it will show. i dont think i can bend with it either, as it is strong. when i woke, it did feel like my tummy has some tightness. it may give tummy control in the long run, however, how can one wear it without feeling tightness in their breaths? i ate a decent volume of food to test if this will bulge. i dont think that is the issue, again anything excess will spill on the waistline..overall, better than half body shapewear that i bought before where the stitches ripped and hard to wear. this one wins the cincher category for me. Can be worn under or over clothing and is a great waist trainer. I use it more for support than anything and it's saved my back at work (I'm a nurse's aid). It could be wider, but I'm almost 6 feet tall and it still spans a lot of my torso. It's narrow enough to be easy to put on and wide enough to stay put pretty well while I'm bending. Love the option to tighten the 2nd straps more and I can tell it's making my waist smaller even though I don't wear it all the time. It's a little uncomfortable but not as much as I expected, and the much needed support well than makes up for the slight discomfort. Also if you wear it under your clothes it makes you sweat A LOT, which is what you want if you're trying to lose weight. I have a 44 inch waist and was worried that the XX large would be too small but I definitely had room to spare. Have been recommending it to everybody who sees it on me.5'3, 195lbs ordered a large and have only worn today. I just received this one 2 days ago and this was 1 of 3 that I purchased. I chose different brands and different sizes as I know waist trainers can be uncomfortable. I have only worn one other and I like that one better but I also like this one because the quality is good based on the velcro straps which hold very well and the RIBS do not bend upward when sitting. The fabric on the very bottom of the ribbing curls under ever so slightly but it is not a deal breaker. I can't give 5 stars only because of the curling under. I could have it on too tight but the brand I wore yesterday was tight and did not curl under. I would still recommend this one also.Its a great brace, I don't actually have anything bad to say about the product itself. If you're iffy on your size, order a bigger one than you think you might need. This would probably be good for wearing to work out or run and waist train but if you're looking to simply hold it all in and train that way, look for a waist cincher. Granted, I would imagine that if I or my husband need to wear a back brace for a sore back, this would be what I'd reach for. That's why I am not necessarily complaining. Just do some research into what you're trying to achieve and get the garment that's right for you.I ordered this waist trainer to wear to the gym. The waist trainer runs a little small in my opinion so order a size up. I like how there is a double adjustment velcro on the waist trainer. You wrap the two big velcro straps around your waist first, then you have another set of smaller straps that go next to give you that hourglass shape. It does seem to give enough back support when your wearing it. The only problem I have with the product is the are the 4 vertical bones in the pack. Sometimes when I am exercising they poke my back and it is so uncomfortable. I have to stop and readjust them.I love this. I like to use it when I workout because it holds me in but it's not as tight sd the more modern, coke bottle shape waist trainers. I go to high intense workouts and this stays pretty well. It does slide up a little but that's because I think it is a little big. I may could have ordered a size smaller. I am usually about a size 14 and ordered a size XL. But again, that could be because of the intense workout I am doing. It is also a little bulky so don't expect to be able to hide this under your clothes.This was the second waist trainer I decided to purchase. I recently gave birth to a 10lb baby (yea.. I know.. ouch). I'm 5'5 and 145lbs, I went up to 178lbs with this baby. I had a lot of stomach weakness afterwards so i decided to buy this waist trainer. It just came in the mail yesterday and is a size Medium. Fits great. It's a little bulky, but I wear a lot of loose fitting v neck t shirts and you can't notice it under my clothing. The adjustable velcro works. Gives me the postpartum support i was looking for!
