Our 2000 Civic low beam headlamps would take up to even a few minutes to turn on in cold weather. Researching the internet seems this is recurrent problem with older civics anyway. There's a couple good youtube videos showing how to replace this switch. It's a very easy and fast replacement. Switch replacement has eliminated the delay. From my research the manufacturer of this product, Standard Motor Products seems to as good as the next aftermarket manufacturer. Switch fit perfectly. Seems to be good purchase, great price, fast delivery, hopefully will last for years to come.
