Super easy to use and lots of space to log food items. When you first open the food journal there are two pages of quick and easy intructions. Followed by your goals, body measurements page, and plan of action (if you will). I love this feature because tracking these two is extremely important (for me at least) to see progress over time and I often forget to do it. Then the next page is a meal plan for the week, which pairs well with the preparation phase to the week. In behavior modification, preparation and planning is a crucial step towards success. It's a way to prime your mind and anticipates a positive outlook towards your goals. Small steps (aka baby steps), in other words, the weekly planning, is a great way to ensure progress. Next is the day-by-fay log where you can record the food item and the macros (calories, carbohydrate, fat, protein, and a space to track something else; I track sugar intake to watch insulin spikes throughout my day). You can also track your exercise, daily progress, and macro totals for the day. For those old schoolers, visual or kinesthetic learners who prefer and enjoy physically writing, this log is an absolute must! Oh it's 3 months worht of pages and for the cost it's a great buy.
