Body shapers for me are a must for me, otherwise I look 5 months pregnant. I’ve use many body shapers and this brand is the only one that holds me in. I will not sugar coated though, they are not the most comfortable but one thing I’ve learned about body shapers is that the comfortable ones don’t work. You can’t have your cake and eat too I guess. The shoulder straps were useless. Not enough strong bonding to prevent and keep snug fitI first saw this online & getbodiedbyj aka Janelle Salazar ( a wellness & fitness trainer) was wearing a different version of this one - but i decided to get the vest to wear during my workout to help me sweatout more in my midsection area! Ive worn it to work all day & to workout, u can wear this under ur clothes & no one can tell. It helps with my posture & helps me sit straighter , which is an extra bonus. The only thing is that i am short (5'2) and so is my torso - even though the straps are adjustable sometimes the bottom portion of the vest will rub on my upper frontal portion of my thigh. its not really uncomfortable but i only noticed because i had a red spot after wearing it a few times. But the waist cincher works & it has extra added benefits of helping ur posture - i find myself correcting my slumping posture when I'm not wearing it (i work at a desk 90% of my day - so its a bad habit for me to hunch my back & shoulders a little) Some previous reviewers complained of the rubber smell -- i mean come on it is latex but the rubber smell isnt horrible u really only smell it very slightly when ur putting it on or taking it off! but if u spray it down with febreeze or Lysol i think ull b ok! (i used febreeze especially after working out in it)** Also i think this is a good alternative to women who have just given birth & are looking for a good compression belt/ to help with reducing ur waistline & midsection after giving birth (please do consult ur physician & ask their advice before trying this as i am not a doctor -- but i am a mom of 3) My child was 9 months when i started using this & i wish i had it immediately following my delivery & early on in my postpartum recovery! This waist cincher is A-OK with me i give it a big thumbs up!!OK...it's taken me a little bit to write the review...why? I was so intimidated. When I received this, I put it on within a day or two. My husband helped me...which I was fully expecting. I wore it for about 4 hours...needing to tug the back down a couple of times. I ordered an XL...and I'm glad I did, because I am losing weight.I know you are suppose to wear this while working out...but there is no way I was going to the gym with my butt and belly popping out of the bottom of this, because if you are overweight, you better believe you are going to pop out of this from certain places.I started trail walking recently, so I decided I'd wear it on my trail walks...let me tell you...WEAR IT!!! NO MATTER HOW HARD IT IS AT FIRST, DO IT! After I we arrived home the first day of our trail walk, I let myself out of it, so fast, I got on my knees and thanked Jesus for giving me the strength to endure what I went through. What was so difficult? It forces you to maintain proper posture...that's all it was...the trail I walk has very steep hills and turns, its not for the faint of heart...so my struggle was real, and the waist cincher does not give you any opportunity for slack. So even now...if on occasion I go without my cinchcer, I am fully aware of my posture. So, I'm getting ready to order the next size down in cinchers...I just ordered this cincher in December...and it's only mid January people...it only works if you use it...and when you use it, you've got to help it, help you, by helping yourself. For one, this cincher is definitely true to size according to the chart - XXL. I'm 5'5" 185lb, waist 35 (side bend waist) and my weight evenly distributed so big hips, butt, thighs, and 36DDDs. Usually, I'm a size 14/16 bottoms and tops L - XL. I LOVE the length. This sucker goes right down to cover the mommy apron. Yay! All the others I've tried have given me the reverse muffin effect by pushing things down to make that area look worse. Ack. Because it IS true to size. All I had to do was suck things in and I could start hooking. No need to lay down and struggle for 20 min to get each hook done. This is a plus overall for a first time trainer. BUT it worries me that it's technically too big for actual training. I *could* see the mommy apron fold underneath so it's definitely not as tight in that area as it could be. But hell, I can sit down at my desk in it and not feel it dig into the my lower belly. It's definitely snug enough under the bust and in the waist. No slouching here. Adjustable straps are awesome and there's no digging in on the back folds as the strapless ones tend to do. If you have narrow shoulders, the straps could be a bit too wide - at least at this size. The girls however are laid out as if on a shelf. LOL. Better than sagging I suppose. I'm keeping it as a noob friendly trainer. It'll improve my posture, cinch me in under thicker clothing and hopefully I'll move to the second hooks in a few weeks. Then I'll order a size down. Latex smell is minimal compared to some of the other ones that leave the latex scent on your hands. I *am* wearing with a tank underneath as I have sensitive skin. Will update with durability review once I've had it for a couple of months.Good quility but S size is too small for people who wears UK 10-12 sizeVery, very happy with this purchase.Very well made, really. Couldn't be happier. It's what I expected and more. Only thing I wish is maybe another row of hooks :) lolAnd speaking of hooks, these ones are on there good, very well made. I had bought a waist trainer before and had hooks come off just from the tension. Not these one no way!Love love it!Fits true to size! Absolutely gorgeous waist trainer. I normally buy the cheep ones so I was scared to invest in a more expensive one. But the boning kept popping out and they would always stretch out a lot. I most certainly feel and see the difference. I highly recommend it so far! I should have gotten it sooner tbh!Love this item. I wore Squeem for years and took a gamble switching to this brand. So glad I did!! Compared to the vest Squeem, this item is thicker, longer, and holds everything in. I have curves wearing this.I love this item, is perfect and made extremely well. Please check sizing chart to Guatemala your size, thier description of your size is not right. I got into a large even tho the chart recommend xxl
