Wasnt expecting a Rolls Royce for this price and was absolutely fine with the quality when it arrived. I spend more when I need to, but frankly didn't want to do that in this instance if I didn't absolutely have to. It's just for some (albeit charming) birds! If anything it was sturdier and went together easier than I anticipated based on other reviews. It maybe took me 15 minutes. The little plastic tabs aren't really a big issue. The strong metal pole clamps on the top and bottom of the house hold it together very securely. (I used two ten foot metal fence poles that fit together from Home Depot. Pounded it 5 feet into the ground to get the recommended 15 ft. height.) If down the road any of it seems to wear, I think I can reinforce it easily enough. In sum, I'd definitely buy this again if I want one in another location or recommend it to a friend who wants something easy and inexpensive.
