And you can rest easy knowing that you and your family are not lost at mealtime, wondering where you can find that next meal idea.We were tired of pouring through recipe books, trying to find a new meal to prepare from time to time—only to find a recipe that looked good…but failed to meet ANY kind of standards in terms of nutrition and health. Our Sine-Wave diet is flexible, but it is much easier to accommodate an occasional splurge than to blindly accept daily meals that totally “blow the bank” in terms of calories or macronutrients.So, we determined to compile a book full of recipes that FIT into a high protein, low calorie diet model, so we (and our clients) could have a go-to source for new meal ideas.However, in line with our principles at 15Minute.Fitness, these recipes had other criteria in order to merit inclusion here. Not only did they have to fit into a reasonable diet model, they had to be quick. We can’t prescribe 15 minute workouts and then ask you to trade the hours you save in the gym for hours slaving over a hot stove. That would be dumb!All these meals should have a prep time of 15 minutes or less. Cook time may vary, but you can do other things (like squeeze in a 15 minute workout!) while your food actually cooks.Also, our ultimate focus is on transforming families from disease and disorder to a state of health. This means these meals should be amenable to husbands, wives and children. Each of these recipes has been husband, wife AND kid approved. While that may not mean everyone will like every one of the recipes (and it may take more than one exposure to attain permanent approval), every recipe here has found favor with some real families we know.
