I usually wear size 6 to 10 clothes (36” B to C cup). I say 6 to 10 because for some reason waists on women’s clothes seem to vary wildly these days and my waist is around 24 to 26” with 38” hips. The small size fits me ok. It is stretchy, however the material is cabable of giving a medium level of control.Once on, it is comfortable and gives a sensible level of control that personally I have found is ok for all day use. I think depends on how determined you are.To be clear though, this is not a tight lacing corset. Those are far more rigid, restricting and uncomfortable or at least until you are accustomed to them. A tight lacing corset can pull you in 4" or more. I have tried that type of corset and not managed to wear them over many days although you can get a fairly sensational waist if you persevere. This corset is more of a medium strength reduction and because it is elastic you can still move and bend quite easily. It could be regarded as a beginners corset to get you acclimatised to some reduction. It seems to pull me in about 1" at my waist but this depends on a range of factors. If you are size 12 or 14 then I think the small size could still work for you but may pull you in a little more for example. I think I would tend to recommend you chose a smaller size than you think otherwise the amount of control could be a little disappointing. Honestly if there was an XS that would probably be preferrable in my case. There are 3 rows of hooks and eyes - although given the stretchiness of the material it does not make a huge difference which row you choose.Although relatively warm to wear this corset has holes that allow for some ventilation and I think that is a good feature.It seems to be well made and durable.Over time I think this could slightly reduce my desire to eat whilst also pulling in my waist and smoothing out my figure.
