As I already stated in my review for packaging, the box looked like it had been through the war. The only thing I have ever seen that came close was the package of cookies, gum and pretzels I received in Vietnam in 67.That being said, the contents were just fine. It took all of 15 minutes to assemble and looks and works just great. The range of tilt for the back and seat were perfect, easily found my comfort zone. I am 5'9" and work at a 35" bench and for what I do I couldn't be happier. I is well padded and the lumbar support is perfect for my height. It almost looks too nice to be in my shop, but that is where it is going to stay.I have to agree with some of the reviews that it's difficult to purchase a chair like this without sitting in it first and I had my own skepticism, but for me it is just fine. My only hesitation came when I got up from the chair for the first time. I pushed off with the arm rests and they flexed outward a little. But then I don't intend on doing any chest dips on the chair, I'll do those at the fitness club. I suppose metal arms would be sturdier but since I'm not at the maximum weight of 250lbs, which is the recommended weight of the chair, I'm not going to worry about it. As far as the foot rest is concerned, for my height and the height I work at, the foot rest is perfect.Would I recommend it? Yes! I would have no reason not to. It fits ME just fine. But, that's me. If I were taller, shorter or wider my review might be different. If I needed to push it under a desk then I'd chose a chair with no arm rest, but since I don't, I like to kick back and stretch and rest my arms for a few minutes while working.Update: I've used this chair in my shop now for over 2 years and it still works and looks like new. I even occasionally bring it into the kitchen when I'm doing any canning and need to keep an eye on the pressure gauge. Very Happy!!!
